In other news, i bought wine today. Who-hoo! My reward for a hard week of (attempted) study and (attempted) exams. Big wine sale in the city with a good 30 big brands open for tasting and over half price off. Got a mixed 12 bottles for $75: 6 De Bortoli Shiraz (Yarra Valley) and 6 of very nice Tisdall Cabernet/Merlot from the Goulburn Valley So they're not the greatest wines in the world but they're easy drinking and at that price, a bargin! Already got some good stuff cellaring nicely :-)
Lunch with Xian, post wine buying, was a good catch-up too. Don't see enough of my friends in the city, and, sadly next semester i'm not going to see much of anyone! Ahh the joy of the vet student life.
Still the wonder of the Queens 2nd Australian B'day celebration means i got an extra day to study for horses. Lucky me.
